Gingerbread House Color by Number
A gingerbread house with windows, a door, a chimney and trees. Children read teen numbers (11 to 16) and color more, smaller spaces. Page 2 of the PDF is the full-color answer key.
Level: Hard · Grades 1-2 · Skill: Teen numbers 11-16
How to use it
- Read the color key together: each number has one color.
- Color every space with a 1, then every 2, and so on.
- Check the finished picture against the answer key (page 2 of the PDF).
Easier: Color one space of each number as an example first.
Harder: Cover the color names in the key so your child reads the swatch.
Tip: Teen numbers are easy to mix up (13 and 31). Ask: "Is it ten and how many more?"
