Number 5 Tracing Worksheet
Trace the number 5 (five) with stroke-order arrows and a green start dot (two strokes: down and around the belly, then the hat on top). Then trace the word "five", color 5 boxes in the ten frame, count 5 cars, and practise in three rows: solid, dotted, then on your own.
Level: Numbers 0-10 · PreK-K · Skill: Writing 5
How to use it
- Trace the big number with a finger first: start at the green dot, follow the arrows.
- Trace the gray numbers, then the dotted ones, then write it alone from the green dots.
- Color the ten frame boxes and count the pictures to match the number.
Easier: Use a highlighter over the big gray number before using a pencil.
Harder: Cover the arrows and ask your child to tell you the stroke order out loud.
Tip: Draw the hat last. Children who start with the hat often write 5 backwards.
